Chloe & Austin

Austin and Chloe actually met in Japan in High School. Their parents were employed there at the time. They continued to keep in contact though college and missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The wedding ceremony took place on a very warm summer day at the Ogden Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Following the marriage ceremony, a ring ceremony took place just before the reception. The feel of the wedding reception was Great Gatsby to go with the theme of the historic Ben Lomond Hotel. The hotel definitely has an art deco feel to it and the décor plays up to that theme. The colors of black and gold were chosen as an homage to the roaring twenties. The couple choreographed their first dance to Lucky by Jason Mraz/Colbie Caillat. The father/daughter dance was choreographed to Sway by Michael Bublé. It was a real treat to see both the dances choreographed. Some fun touches to this reception were the “mocktails” that were served as well as the signage and place cards being all “Great Gatsby” themed.
