Cima & Paymon's Story

Cima and Paymon’s Persian wedding at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City was a celebration that radiated both sophistication and heartfelt tradition. The outdoor ceremony unfolded beneath a clear blue sky, with the hotel’s manicured gardens and stately architecture providing a breathtaking backdrop. Guests were greeted by the gentle fragrance of blooming flowers and the soft sounds of classical Persian music, setting a serene and joyful tone for the day. The couple, surrounded by loved ones, exchanged vows in an atmosphere that felt both intimate and grand, blending the timeless beauty of Persian customs with the elegance of their chosen venue.

Central to the ceremony was the Sofreh Aghd, a masterpiece of artistry and symbolism that anchored the outdoor setting with grace. Spread across a elegant white dais, the Sofreh was adorned with an array of meaningful items: ornate candlesticks, crystal bowls filled with sugar and almonds, gilded mirrors, and delicate arrangements of fresh flowers. Each element was thoughtfully placed, reflecting centuries-old traditions and the couple’s deep respect for their heritage. Muted sunlight danced across the silver trays and glass vessels, illuminating the intricate details and casting a warm, inviting glow over the entire tableau. The elegance of the Sofreh Aghd, set against the lush greenery and grandeur of the Grand America, created a scene that was both enchanting and unforgettable—a perfect beginning to Cima and Paymon’s new life together.
